POST
Formationen is a spatial research project investigating how groups organize themselves through space and time. Using projection and sound to visualize movement patterns and collective formation processes, the work translates invisible social dynamics into visible, experiential events that audiences can directly encounter.

The project operates at the intersection of choreography, media art, and social science, asking how artistic media can make visible the structures underlying group behavior. Formationen creates interactive environments where collective movement becomes the subject of aesthetic and analytical investigation, blending scientific observation with artistic experience.

Through immersive projection and responsive sound design, Formationen reveals how space shapes human organization and how people unconsciously create patterns and structures. The work demonstrates the potential of media art to contribute to understanding collective behavior, making the abstract nature of group dynamics tangible and explorable.
