Our ongoing Luminous Objects series keeps finding new rooms. This month, from 26 to 28 September 2025, it is on show at the Festival of Animation Berlin in Silent Green Kulturquartier.
The objects are "artistic studies in between image and sculpture". Each one is a three-dimensional form placed on a light-emitting screen, with virtual lighting, animation and custom sound synchronised to it. Edition 1, begun in 2018, turns to three forms foundational to screen technology: the cube, the lens and the prism. Edition 2 (2022) traces the wireframes of polyhedra with intersecting metal rods.

Before Berlin, the series was shown at Videokunstnacht Kleinmachnow in 2022, at the Water Light Festival in Brixen in May 2023 and at the Factory Light Festival in Slemmestad, Norway, in November 2024, where it stood next to RADIX (report). All editions: xenorama.com.
