POST
Moya Facade is a monumental projection mapping installation on the Herder statue in Weimar, exploring how historical monuments can become dynamic media surfaces. The project transforms the neo-classical sculpture into a canvas for abstract geometries and layered visual compositions, questioning the relationship between cultural memory, contemporary aesthetics, and public space.
The work investigates how projection technology reveals hidden architectural qualities—the play of shadow, depth, and materiality of stone. By responding to the specific geometry and positioning of the monument, Moya Facade demonstrates projection mapping as a form of visual dialogue with architecture, creating momentary transformations without permanent alteration.
