BLICKLICHTER was XENORAMA's solo exhibition at Rechenzentrum Potsdam, the house where the collective has its studio. It opened on 21 January 2017.

The building was designed in 1969–71 by an architects' collective around Sepp Weber as a computing centre for VEB Maschinelles Rechnen, and its façade carries an 18-part mosaic by Fritz Eisel, “Der Mensch bezwingt den Kosmos” (Man conquers the cosmos). Most of the complex was later demolished; the surviving administrative building has been converted since 2015 into Brandenburg's largest art and creative house (Rechenzentrum Potsdam).

XENORAMA moved in as a young company, a collective from Potsdam and Bremen working between film, sound, installation and performance, with a site-specific approach (Rechenzentrum). BLICKLICHTER gathered what it had made since 2014: narrative light installations, sculptures and an interactive projection. The opening night added talks and a concert.
