The Research
FAST45 is an Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance exploring how art schools can prepare students for creative practice in a climate-constrained, algorithmic future. The network involved art schools across Europe, creative practitioners, and researchers in fields ranging from climate science to pedagogy.

Innovation: Climate-Just + Algorithmic Literacy
Xenorama's focus bridged two domains: climate justice (a political-pedagogical framework, not just environmental awareness) and algorithmic literacy (code as a creative language, not a technical tool). The workshops demonstrated that creative coding and futures thinking can be taught together—algorithm as a way of imagining possible worlds.
