The Alzette, the river that gives Esch-sur-Alzette its name, runs hidden beneath the town's streets. From 27 September to 6 October 2024, KORRELATION made it visible on rue de l'Alzette in Luxembourg, as part of ELEKTRON.

The interactive XENORAMA projection turns a stretch of the street into an abstract aquatic and scientific landscape that answers the steps of passers-by. It belonged to Elektron's urban journey “Cyber Structures: Material Realities – Digital Experiences”, a strand of the programme of Esch2024, European Capital of Culture (Esch2024).

The work was made by the XENORAMA collective: Lorenz Potthast, Marcel Bückner, Moritz Richartz, Richard Oeckel and Tim Heinze (project page).
