RADIX at the Digital Choc Festival in Tokyo, February 2018, a year after the sculpture had received its award in the same city.
Digital Choc is organised by the Institut Français Tokyo in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Tokyo and has run every year since 2012. The 2018 edition set a critical discourse on artificial intelligence and virtual reality beside new work in projection mapping (Digital Choc). Three works by young German artists were shown in the foyer of the Goethe-Institut, and RADIX, a root sculpture by XENORAMA augmented by projection and sound, was one of them.
