RADIX at UnderTheRadar Festival in Vienna, May 2018.

For five days, 24 to 28 May, the sculpture stood at Sternstudio (utrfest.org). It arrived with two years of travel behind it: a premiere at the Luminale in Frankfurt in 2016, the Lumen Prize shortlist in London the same year, and the New Face Award at the Japan Media Arts Festival in Tokyo in 2017.

RADIX is both sculptural object and generative visual system, a wooden root augmented by projection and sound, made by the XENORAMA collective: Lorenz Potthast, Marcel Bückner, Moritz Richartz, Richard Oeckel and Tim Heinze.
