INTRO
Inhabit follows a micro-evolutionary cycle in which form appears, shifts, and redistributes itself.
Inhabit follows a micro-evolutionary cycle in which form appears, shifts, and redistributes itself.
The work moves through phases that resemble early organization, fluid transformation, sudden activation, and particulate drift. Each transition shows the environment adjusting to changing conditions, never fixed, always in motion.
The system behaves like a living process at small scale: structures emerge, loosen into flow, ignite briefly, and scatter into new configurations. These shifts evoke the continual re-forming present in natural cycles, where life unfolds through change rather than stability.
As the cycle progresses, the environment develops a logic of its own. Form and motion negotiate space together, creating patterns that echo behaviors found in evolving ecosystems and microscopic processes.

THE OUTCOME
Inhabit offers a view of an environment that remains active throughout its changes, revealing life not as a stable form but as a dynamic rhythm of appearing, transforming, and drifting into new configurations.
