INTRO
RADIX at Platine Festival in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, a showcase for electronic art and alternative play-forms.
Platine spreads across Ehrenfeld: classic pubs, theatre venues and office communities become sites for the festival (Platine Festival). RADIX took one of these sites as an installation.
RADIX is a XENORAMA root sculpture whose 3D-scanned wood carries projection and sound, a dialogue between algorithmic imagery and physical material. A first-person account of the presentation is on the blog: Radix – Xenorama – Platine Cologne.
