On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of German reunification and the opening ceremony of the FRAME, we staged a light installation at the German Maritime Museum.
The FRAME is a LED-installation, that surrounds the Bangert building and stages the exhibits as if on a display. This spatial illumination is extended by four spatial projection surfaces with more detailed, high-resolution content.

The whole installation revolves around a tide calculator from the GDR, which is used to visualize the interplay of topics such as seas, climate change and research. Abstract, graphic forms and sounds spread through the whole room and in front of it, and are supplemented by photo and video material from science and research.
